My office has a view of city hall. You always see some interesting characters around the building.
A few days ago, I saw some characters who were protesting some issue. It really doesn’t matter what they didn’t like, because most people protest in silence. Most hold a sign, but few read it. Flag waving is also popular.
So why is this duo of protesters worth of blog? It is because one of the protesters had a trumpet. In fact, he was a good trumpeter. And, he gathered a lot of attention. I could see people drawn by the trumpet music, and then they would read the message. The trumpet made the sign more interesting.
We all have something to say, something we’d like to put on a sign, but it takes a trumpet to draw people in and get their attention. What’s your trumpet?
